The Rawish Level One Chef’s Training is designed to provide a rich, comprehensive learning experience, equipping students with a broad array of skills and knowledge in the culinary arts.
Fees and Payment Terms
1. Total Cost:
The total fee for the Rawish Level One Chef’s Training course is $5000 AUD. This cost includes the course fee but does not cover any additional bank fees, taxes, or charges imposed by outside organisations or banks. This does not cover the expense of accommodation. These additional costs are the responsibility of the student.
2. Payment Schedule:
Payment for the course is facilitated through third-party providers, which offer various options based on the student’s location and currency.
Students will have the opportunity to select their preferred payment method at checkout, including the option to pay in 6 monthly instalments.
3. Deposits and Refunds:
No deposit is required for enrollment in the course. Full payment or instalment payments in process is necessary to secure a place in the program.
The following refund policy applies to all cancellations:
Please note that no refunds or discounts will be given for late arrivals, early departures, flight cancellations, travel delays, or illness.
To mitigate potential losses in these scenarios, students are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance.
By agreeing to these terms, the student acknowledges their understanding and acceptance of the payment obligations and refund policy as stated. This agreement is binding upon payment and registration for the Rawish Level One Chef’s Training course.
Participant Responsibilities
1. Attendance Requirements:
Students are required to attend a minimum of 10 days of the course to be eligible for the certificate of completion. Absences beyond this limit may result in the student not receiving their certificate, reflecting the importance of full participation in the course.
2. Dress Code:
Chef coats will be provided to every student by Rawish. It is mandatory for students to wear these coats during practical lessons.
Hair must be tied back during practical lessons to ensure safety and hygiene.
Nails must be kept clean, trimmed, and free from gel nails or nail polish. This is crucial for maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen.
3. Expected Behavior and Conduct:
Rawish maintains a strict policy against aggressive language or behaviour. Any form of aggression towards other students or staff members will not be tolerated and will result in immediate dismissal from the course without a refund.
Students are expected to follow all instructions given by the staff. Cooperation and respect for authority are essential for a safe and productive learning environment.
4. Health and Safety Regulations:
Students must adhere to all safety and hygiene guidelines provided during the course. This includes proper handling of food, sharp objects, and heat sources.
Detailed guidelines will be provided and taught as part of the course curriculum. It is imperative that these guidelines are followed to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
By signing this contract, students acknowledge and agree to adhere to the responsibilities outlined above. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the course.
Equipment and Materials
1. Provided Tools and Materials:
Rawish will provide all necessary equipment and tools required for the duration of the course. This ensures that students have access to the appropriate resources needed for their culinary training.
Included in the course is a daily lunch, prepared as part of the training experience.
Upon completion of the course, students will receive a package of take-home materials. This package includes:
A comprehensive manual containing recipes and lectures covered during the course.
A chef’s apron and hair band from Minggu the Label.
Any additional bonus materials that were offered as part of the course purchase.
2. Student-Supplied Items:
While all essential materials for the course are provided, students are encouraged to bring their own notepad and pen. These items are not mandatory but can be helpful for taking notes during lectures and practical sessions.
By enrolling in the Rawish Level One Chef’s Training course, students agree to responsibly use and maintain the equipment and materials provided. They also acknowledge that the take-home materials are theirs to keep for future reference and use.
Course Completion and Certification
1. Completion Criteria:
To successfully complete the Rawish Level One Chef’s Training course, students are required to be present and actively participate in at least 70% of the course.
Attendance and active participation are essential to grasp the full range of skills and knowledge imparted during the course.
2. Certification:
Upon meeting the completion criteria, students will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
This certificate is issued by Rawish and serves as formal recognition of the skills and knowledge acquired during the training.
The certificate signifies the student’s commitment and achievement in the culinary training provided by Rawish.
It is important for students to understand that the Certificate of Completion is contingent upon meeting the specified attendance and participation requirements. This certificate is a testament to the dedication and effort put forth by the student in their culinary education journey.
By signing this contract, students acknowledge their understanding of and commitment to the completion criteria set forth by Rawish for the Level One Chef’s Training course.
Image and Video Rights
1. Consent for Photography and Recording:
The student hereby grants Rawish and its representatives the right to take photographs and video recordings during the course.
This consent includes all classes, activities, and events associated with the program.
2. Usage of Images and Recordings:
The student understands and agrees that these photographs and video recordings may be used in various media formats, including but not limited to print, online, and video-based marketing materials, as well as other publications.
3. Promotional Use:
The student agrees that Rawish has the right to use these images and recordings for promotional purposes, including advertising the course or the broader activities of Rawish.
4. Ownership and Rights:
All photographs and video recordings taken during the course are the property of Rawish.
The student waives any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written copy, wherein their likeness or their work appears.
5. No Compensation:
The student agrees that they will not receive any financial compensation for the use of images or videos, now or in the future.
6. Privacy and Respect:
Rawish commits to using the photographs and videos in a respectful and ethical manner.
Personal information of the students will not be disclosed in any media formats without the explicit consent of the student.
7. Opt-Out Option:
Students who do not wish to have their images or videos used must submit a written request to Rawish prior to the commencement of the course.
8. Duration of Consent:
This consent is perpetual and irrevocable, and it extends beyond the duration of the course.
By signing this contract, the student acknowledges that they have read and understood this section and agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
Liability Waiver
1. Handling of Kitchen Equipment and Associated Risks:
Students will be using various kitchen equipment and tools as part of their training. While these are essential for culinary practice, they also pose certain risks if not handled correctly.
It is the responsibility of each student to adhere strictly to the safety guidelines provided during the course. These guidelines are designed to minimise risks and ensure a safe learning environment.
2. Policy on Accidents and Injuries:
Rawish emphasises the importance of safety and proper handling of all kitchen equipment. However, students are accountable for following the safety guidelines provided.
Rawish will not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur due to a student’s failure to follow these safety guidelines.
Additionally, Rawish is not liable for accidents or injuries that happen outside of supervised class hours or within the training facility.
In the event of noticing any malfunction or issue with the machinery or tools, it is the student’s responsibility to immediately notify a teacher or assistant teacher. Use of any malfunctioning equipment is strictly prohibited until it has been deemed safe.
Rawish disclaims liability for any malpractice or use of equipment and tools outside the scope of instruction provided during the course.
3. Acknowledgement of Risks and Waiver of Liability:
By signing this contract, students acknowledge that they understand the risks involved in culinary training and agree to abide by all safety protocols and instructions.
Students agree to waive any claims against Rawish related to accidents or injuries that occur as a result of their own negligence or failure to follow safety guidelines.
This waiver of liability is an integral part of the contract for participating in the Rawish Level One Chef’s Training course, and it is essential that students understand and accept these terms as a condition of their participation.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
1. Conditions for Cancellation or Rescheduling:
Rawish reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Level One Chef’s Training course under certain conditions. These conditions include, but are not limited to, the following scenarios:
Change in Course Dates: The course dates may be subject to change. Any such changes will be communicated at least one month prior to the originally scheduled start date.
Natural Disasters or Emergencies: In the event of a natural disaster or other unforeseen major emergency that impacts the ability to conduct the course.
Minimum Enrollment Not Met: Rawish has a minimum student enrollment requirement for the course. If this number is not met, the course may be rescheduled or cancelled.
2. Students’ Rights in Case of Cancellation or Rescheduling:
If Rawish cancels or reschedules the course, students will be provided with the following options:
Full Refund: Students will be eligible for a full refund of the course fee already paid.
Transfer to New Date: Alternatively, students can choose to have their enrollment transferred to the new course date. This option is subject to the student’s approval and availability on the new date.
By agreeing to these terms, students acknowledge that they understand the circumstances under which the course may be cancelled or rescheduled and the options available to them in such scenarios. This policy is designed to ensure fairness and transparency in the event of any changes to the course schedule.
Payment Plan and Default
1. Payment Plan Options:
Rawish Plant-Based Academy offers flexible payment plan options to students, facilitated through third-party providers. These plans allow for the course fee to be paid in instalments, subject to approval based on the student’s location and currency.
Details of the payment schedule, including the number of instalments, amounts, and due dates, will be provided to the student upon selection of a payment plan.
2. Payment Obligations:
By selecting a payment plan, the student commits to completing all scheduled payments on or before their due dates.
Failure to make a payment by the due date will result in suspension from the course and legal action to recover owed amounts.
3. Consequences of Default:
Immediate Action: If a student fails to make a payment as per the agreed schedule, Rawish will contact via email to let the customer know about the missed payments and offer help to complete payment.
Legal Recourse: In cases where payments are not completed within a grace period of ten days following the due date, Rawish may seek legal recourse to recover the remaining balance. This may include but is not limited to, referral to a collections agency or legal action..
4. Legal Protection:
This section of the contract is intended to legally protect Rawish against losses due to non-completion of payment by students. It outlines the steps Rawish will take to recover any unpaid fees and ensures that students are aware of their financial obligations when enrolling in the course.
5. Agreement to Terms:
By signing this contract, the student agrees to the terms of the payment plan, acknowledges the consequences of default, and commits to fulfilling their payment obligations as outlined.
Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
1. Protection of Course Materials:
Rawish provides various recipes and teaching materials as part of the Level One Chef’s Training course. These materials are intended for personal use and educational purposes by the students.
Students are authorised to reproduce these recipes and materials for their personal use only. Commercial use, distribution, or use for self-advertisement purposes of these recipes and materials is strictly prohibited.
Any recipes or culinary creations developed by students during the course remain the intellectual property of the respective students. Rawish may use photos or videos of the students and their dishes for promotional purposes, but will not commercially exploit the recipes themselves.
2. Privacy Policy:
Rawish is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of its students.
All student data and information collected during the course enrollment and participation process will be used solely by Rawish for the purposes of course administration and communication.
Rawish assures that no personal information or data will be shared with or released to third parties without the explicit consent of the student, except as required by law.
By agreeing to this contract, students acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of these terms regarding the use of course materials and the protection of their personal information. This agreement is integral to maintaining the integrity of Rawish’s intellectual property and the privacy of its students.
Contract Agreement:
This contract represents a binding agreement between Rawish Plant-Based Academy and the student enrolling in the Level One Chef’s Training course. By agreeing to this contract, both parties are to adhere to all the terms and conditions outlined in the preceding sections of this document.

The student consents to all the provisions stated in the contract, including but not limited to program details, fees and payment terms, participant responsibilities, equipment and materials, course completion and certification, liability waiver, cancellation and rescheduling policy, confidentiality and intellectual property.
Rawish’s Commitment:
Rawish agrees to provide the training, resources, and support as described in this contract and commits to upholding its responsibilities and standards.
Effective Date:
This contract becomes effective upon the date the student purchases the course.
